On Sunday, Jan 22nd we saw our teams return to league action after the Christmas break.
Both our women and men teams played against young UCD side in Phibblestown Community Centre.
First it was ladies turn, and it was a close game for the most of the first half with our ladies missing some penalties and clear cut chances. The result at half time was 15-11 to our Dublin International HC ladies. The break worked wonders for the ladies in black and red and home team controlled the game and ran out comfortable winners 27-14.
Then, it was turn for the men. Dublin International team started the game strong, and quickly built up 10 goals lead before slowing down and letting the UCD students back in the game. The score at half time was 17-9 to the home team. After halftime the game continued in the same direction with our Dublin International HC men winning the game 34-17.
Well done to everyone involved in the games today, thanks and good luck UCD teams for the rest of the season.
The next matches for Dublin International Handball Club is on the 12th of February in Phibblestown community college against the ambitious DCH team.
Come and support the boys and girls in black and red.
