Matesz goes PRO

Saturday, 08 August 2009
Yes that’s right! To some it may come as a surprise, but whoever saw our left wing magician will not be shocked at all. Matesz Boron of DI HC is going professional. He is signing a contract with a Polish premier league side, on the back of his performances for DI HC. To his credit, he has decided to start the season with DI HC and play in the round robin section of the Challenge Cup, after which DI HC will release him out of his amateur contract. This is a historic event in Irish club handball history, as this is the first handball player from our league to go pro. Congrats Matesz!

On the back of this event, DI HC is inviting players who wish to sign and play with us this
coming season to contact the team at dublinint@gmail.com. We would especially encourage young players to join us and become a part of this very special family.
